Dear Baby...

Dear Baby,

Mummy has a favour to ask, precious. Can you please stop her buying cute little things for you to wear? When she stumbles upon a website with lots and lots of yummy sweet things to buy, can you remind her that you already have lost of clothes and she might want to wait a little while before buying anything else? Sales just make things even harder for her self control.

Besides, Daddy gets angry when he has to go to the post office every day to pick things up for you. And he gets even crosser when he sees the credit card bill.

Lots of love,

Mummy xx

Sounds like someone got the same email alert in their inbox today re: Baby's Got Style sale? I've also bought some stuff from Bambini Pronto and The Birdsnest over the last couple of days. Am trying to be good and get a range of sizes - thinking ahead. Also must curb my enthusiasm because I know we will receive so much stuff in the way of gifts. It is fun though - and much more inspiring than buying maternity wear!

Guilty as charged. I bought some very cute things, and some extremely practical things too. Lots of leggings with feet in them for this time next year! Also some Marquise rompers which I am reliably informed is the best brand for onesies. And a few choice other items too!

Ha ha!! Maybe dear Baby will have the same shoppoing gene as you Miss Kitts - then Mr K really will be in deep trouble!! But what is a girl to do ? So much temptation especially at Sales time! XX

What a lucky baby! I think the "shopping for your children bug" never goes away if my Mum is anything to go by - I'm well into my 30s and my Mum still buys me (and my sisters too) loads of presents...!

Just remind your dear husband that you are spending so much less on yourself so it's only fair to spend a little on baby K!
The sales online and out and about are fantastic! I too am finding it hard to keep in control...

Argh yes it's like a disease, the endless shopping and squirreling away of baby things. Just in case. And because they are all Too Cute!

Sadly, much of it never gets worn or used in my experience. Then you just have to cross your fingers for another girl in the family or friend circle, to give your pretty, barely-used things too...

I cannot wait to see photos of this kitten in her wardrobe!!
