First on the list:
Chelsy Davy
Prince Harry's on again off again girlfriend was a surprise inclusion on the guestlist for many royal watchers. Her style is more relaxed than Kate's. That's being quite kind. Her look for the wedding was neither polished nor appropriate - her off the shoulder Alberta Ferretti suit was ill fitting and too short, her hair was a mess, her makeup badly applied and her fascinator didn't match anything. Her shoes were lovely though - pity that when you got to the ankles it was all over. The whole look was badly reminiscent of the 1980's. Based on this alone, I'd say there's a good chance we're not going to see Princess Chelsy anytime soon...
Tara Palmer Tomkinson
Sometimes there is such a thing as too much matching. This is one of those cases. Too much blue. The hat is too severe. The less said about the gloves the better. If the intention behind this outfit was to detract from her cocaine ravaged and rebuilt nose then she failed. She looks like an extra from Star Trek. If she'd ditched the gloves and opted for a different colour shoe and handbag selection it would have been much better.
Samantha Cameron
The former director at Smythson and wife of the current British Prime Minister was one I was looking forward to seeing at this wedding . She usually looks very elegant and stylish. Her Burberry dress was a nice colour but too casual for the event. The orange accessories weren't a good match in my opinion. And her decision not to wear a hat broke the dress code (she wore a small, flat flower behind her right ear). This is an occasion which called for hats (few and far between) and she missed. she should have a better understanding of protocol.
Miriam Gonzalez Duantez
The wife of Nick Clegg, the deputy Prime Minister, is usually one lauded for her fashion choices but on this occasion I found myself screaming "Too much!! Too much!!" at the computer screen. The poppies on the hat, the spotted net, the draped and gathered netting over the shoulder, the too long hemline.... All combined to make for a bit of a disaster. The hat by itself may have been a nice statement piece if she had worn a solid black outfit. She may have even made the best dressed list in that case!
Princess Anne
Usually an automatic inclusion on this list, I have to say it was touch and go this time around. The green and purple clash terribly but the fact that the suit actually fits her is what makes it borderline. The hat is what tips her over the edge. It's a no for me.
The Yorkies
A divisive inclusion on this list - there is no doubt. Princess Eugenie is automatically on the list for her selection of an unflattering Vivienne Westwood outfit combined with a Philip Treacy pirate hat. Princess Beatrice is a little more difficult - her Valentino Haute Couture collection coat, dress and shoes I though were very appropriate for the occasion. What let her down was the ridiculous hatinator she wore on the front of her head. People have universally panned it - calling it everything from a pretzel (just in case she got hungry during the ceremony) to a Bambi reindeer impression. I don't get this trend for wearing hats on your face. It just looks silly. She has looked so much better in my opinion.
So who do you think needed the help of a stylist?

I agree - Fergie's daughters looked awful!!!!!! I didn't mind David Cameron's wife though - bit boring but not terrible. :)
Haha, Chelsy's outfit was just not right, poor girl having to watch Harry with Pippa!! Tara did look like a space man and have you seen her nose?! Maybe she was trying to detract away from her face...??
I'm pretty disappointed with Samantha Cameron too. Quite disrespectful to not wear a hat.
Every time I see that picture of Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, I can't help but *shudder*...
Putting my neck out here and saying that I actually really liked Princess Beatrice's outfit - if only she did not wear that peculiar thing on her head! I'm with all the critics of the hat, but I really love the neckline of the coat, I thought it was stunning, and the colour suited her very well in my view.
Otherwise, I was not much fussed on Posh's potato sack. Her hat and, more particularly, her man-bag got the big thumbs up from me though!
Tara P-T's gloves look like the ones I do my washing up in...
I really did not like Clegg's wife's get up - she looked v Cruella de Ville! I think Princess Anne is sort of above fashion and so carries it off - I like her! Thanks for all these pics, I missed some of these gals on the day xxx
