Oh dear.

I'm sad to report that the Florsheim leopard flats did not fit me. The 41s were too small. The 42s were like flippers on my feet. Big flappy flippers. It was like being Cinderella's stepsisters. Both of them.

So it's back to the drawing board for me. I'm still thinking about the Mius, but they are realistically out of my price range right now.

Perhaps I'll be able to find a pair of these Tory Burch shoes instead when I am in the US?

Decisions, decisions...

What a shame. Have you tried searching one of those Shopstyle type websites, where they bring together a collection of items from various websites that meet your description? It's really quite genius.

Yes - I've done loads of shopstylin' on this one. My major problem is I want a pair of shoes with a rubber sole and that's hard to search for. And given my luck so far I think I need to try some on before purchasing...

The Mius are awesome. Just a pity that the price is a bit prohibitive. Especially given we are about to put our house plans into council... Eeep!

Oh no!!
Maybe leave it and have a look at Tory Burch in the US, I recall quite a decent selection at Nordstrom at Fashion Show Mall.

Otherwise, I got numerous pairs of flats at Elie Tahari at the Vegas outlets.

I don't know about the 'genuine-ness' of ioffer though but they are v reasonably priced! (I paid a similar amount for mine from the US at Lord & Taylor outlet store)

Really, you didn't buy the 41s & fall for the sales pitch that they will stretch (like the truth!!) You can't stuff some cotton wool at the toes of the 42s?? Bummer, they were soooo nice, love Posie

Carolyn - I mentioned in my previous post's comments that I have looked at the Sambag ones but unfortunately they lave leather soles and I don't find a lot of their flats comfy. And I'm also in between sizes at Sambag. Even the insoles they sell don't help.

Posie - they might stretch widthways but unfortunately the toes were hitting the end. Bummer indeed.

*misskitty* - I really think I need to try them on given my bad luck to date. Thanks for the tip though - will keep my eyes open!

Isn't it oh so frustrating when you're in between sizes!

It's a shame that most shoe companies don't make half sizes anymore. I think it's a good idea to wait for Tory Burch when you're in the States.

By the way I tagged you for a fun little exercise.

Oh what a shame! I wish more brands did half sizes (although that would mean I'd buy so many more pairs of shoes :P ). The Miu Mius are so cute but yes I would imagine priced quite differently.
