Now I don't have a baby yet, but when I do I'll DEFINITELY be buying one of these:
It's an elephant nightlight. If it's good enough for FF's baby it will be on my list. But between you and me, I'm thinking of buying this one for my bedside table:
I'm not afraid of the dark but I'd pretend to be if it got me a kitty nightlight. Who wouldn't?

Back in my day, the older child night light came in the form of a green glow worm - not very comfortable to sleep with.

The Mummy - my sister had one and she seems fine! Although I'm sure they aren't all that good for you. Really. I think the kitties could be afraid of the dark but I think Millie might try to play fetch with them!

Totally cute, a couple of my children have the $30 IKEA versions of pussy cats, they call them Ghost lights or something, my son named his "Aqua" & i said "after the colour of the pussy cat's ears" & he said "no, Daddy's aftershave". Ha, might be from IKEA, but he's thinking Bulgari!! Love Posie
