We are having Mum and Dad and Mr K's Aunt at our place for Christmas this year. It will be tres casual but lots of fun - good food, lots of presents, a real tree. All the good stuff.
Baby G has about a gazillion outfits to wear to celebrate the festivities, so in the spirit of supporting the downtrodden retail economy here in Australia, I made a purchase during the week. Something nice and new. From Blue Illusion, I think Faux Fuchsia would approve.
It's not particularly breastfeeding friendly but it is embellished and very comfy - I figure I can get a few hours wear out of it. At least. It will make a change from my regular outfit of tracksuit pants, breastfeeding top and cardigan, and I have a great pair of wedges I can wear with it. Because if you can't go all out and get dressed up at Christmas when can you?

ReplyDeleteare you going to post pictures of baby g in her christmas get-up?
It's even nicer in real life!
ReplyDeleteYes - will definitely post pics of G in her frocks and outfits. There is one that is particularly special...

It will be so nice to change into something like that, even for a few hours! It does get tiresome wearing the same few milk-stained, easy-access tops. I remember, even if I was popping out for just a few hours sans-bebe, I would delight in wearing something completely UNfriendly for feeding!
ReplyDeleteBlue Illusion has some of the most gorgeous caftan bits. That dress is gorgeous.
A real tree, how fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the dress, it's stunning. x
Lovely and festive! Which colour did you get?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your Xmas post already haha!
Love the dress, I always dress up for Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteNice work. Having a sparkly Christmas dress is key!!!
ReplyDeleteI always get a little Christmas outfit going. It's probably the one day of the year that I dress up at home! x
